Spring is in the air!
This is one of the most exciting times of the season for me.
There’s so many sights and sounds and smells to witness in the spring; the geese flying over head, the songs of returning birds, the smell of soil, newly exposed after heavy snow.
It can feel overwhelming too. There’s lots to do but none of it can be rushed. Each piece of nature must take the time it needs to emerge and that is no different with a seasonal business, especially one hinged on the arrival of spring. Each part of my business must take the time it needs to emerge, side by side with nature.
Rather than try to rush anymore, rather than try to push each hour forward in some way, I’ve learned to sit back in the folds of nature and work within it.
I encourage you to do the same.
Sure, rake the leaves from your lawn or clear the flower beds of debris, but make sure to work along side nature. Take time to reflect in the sights, sounds and smells of spring. Don’t hurry spring along.
Enjoy it with me, today.
